Costumed Lady


The Story Behind The Print - Costumed Lady emerged from a series of prints shot while on a field trip to McLean Mill, historic site in Port Alberni, BC. I regularly took a class of students from VAST Girls Project for photo shoots with digital cameras. It was during the winter and this shot included moss, leaves and snow along with a random piece of wire. This shot fascinates me because of the subliminal imagery which emerges out of the print. "Q" - 2008 Alberni Valley Wine Festival



Alberni Valley Wine Festival Commission for Rotary at Echo Centre

"Q" will be part of the silent auction. Rotary uses funds raised by the wine festival to support items such as community projects and bursaries. Rotary very kindly allowed me to display some of my work during the event and have access to about 15 feet of wall space in the Cedar Rooms. Thanks to Theresa Kingston and Cheryl Hamilton, two members of the committee for their valuable assistance.
